Wise Owl Theatre is delighted to partner with the North Yorkshire Moors Railway to present a brand-new Storytelling adventure.

Step aboard The Santa Express North Yorkshire Moors at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, where a magical festive experience awaits through breathtaking winter landscapes. Famous for its appearances in Harry Potter and beloved TV and film, this heritage railway transforms into a cosy Christmas adventure, complete with steam, sparkle, and a special visit from Santa himself.

At Pickering Station, guests step into a festive world filled with decorations and live singing, before an interactive story packed with jokes, songs, and Christmas cheer. Along the way, families help revive the Spirit Gauge, just in time for a very special meeting with Father Christmas, who greets every child with a keepsake gift.

Created in partnership with North Yorkshire Moors Railway, The Santa Express is more than a train ride,  it’s a theatrical, Christmas story unfolding around you. Meet beloved North Pole characters, join in with festive fun, and enjoy enchanting moments at every turn. And of course… no Christmas adventure would be complete without a special gift! Every child will receive a present-shaped surprise during the journey to make their day truly unforgettable.
